Yandex Delivery has launched testing of a new "Assistant" feature. Now you can not only order the delivery of goods, but also ask the courier, for example, to pick up a purchase from a pick-up point, make a small purchase, grab a jacket from the dry cleaner, or medicine from the pharmacy.
If payment is made on the spot, the courier will contact the client via chat in the application to clarify all the details. If necessary, he can send a photo and agree on the price, which should not exceed 2000 rubles.
The "Assistant" is currently being tested in Moscow, Yekaterinburg, and Novosibirsk. Some users in these cities can already use it. After the completion of testing, the "Assistant" will become available throughout Russia.
Earlier, Yandex Go introduced a virtual queue in the "Economy" tariff during high demand for taxis. Now users who want to leave will be able to find out how many people are already waiting for a car. This feature will help them make an informed decision: join the queue and wait, choose another tariff, or use public transport.
