The Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant (KMZ) has entered into an agreement with the "Arsenal Machine-Building Plant." The two enterprises will begin casting the hull for the Russian A-192 universal naval artillery system. This was reported by the company's press service.
Thanks to well-coordinated work, requiring detailed design development, precise chemistry, and impeccable execution, the manufactured castings always meet the customer's technical specifications and are delivered within the deadlines stipulated in the contracts.
The A-192 artillery system is designed to arm new Russian Project 22350 frigates. This universal automatic medium-caliber artillery system is capable of firing at various targets (surface, ground, air) and anti-ship missiles.
Project 22350 "Admiral Gorshkov" frigates are a series of multi-purpose 1st rank vessels equipped with guided missile weapons. The A-192 system enhances the combat capabilities of these ships.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Rechvodput received 2 KMZ navigational support vessels of Project 3050.
