The Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant (KMZ) has entered into an agreement with the "Arsenal" Machine-Building Plant. The two enterprises will begin casting the hull for the Russian A-192 universal naval artillery system. This was reported by the company's press service.
Thanks to well-established work, requiring detailed design development, precise chemistry, and flawless execution, the manufactured castings always meet the customer's technical specifications and are delivered within the deadlines stipulated in the contracts.
The A-192 artillery system is designed to arm new Russian Project 22350 frigates. This universal automatic medium-caliber artillery system is capable of firing at various targets (surface, ground, air) and anti-ship missiles.
Project 22350 frigates "Admiral Gorshkov" are a series of multi-purpose 1st rank ships equipped with guided missile weapons. The A-192 installation enhances the combat capabilities of these ships.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Rechvodput received 2 buoy tender vessels of project 3050 from KMZ.
