Ещё мощнее: АвтоВАЗ модернизирует двигатели объёмом 1,6 и 1,8 литра для Lada Vesta

Engines will be equipped with a phase regulator

AvtoVAZ intends to modernize the engines installed on Lada Vesta and Lada Aura. We are talking about 16-valve VAZ-21129 engines with a volume of 1.6 liters and a power of 106 horsepower, as well as VAZ-21179 with a volume of 1.8 liters and a power of 122 horsepower.

These engines will be equipped with a phase regulator, which will increase their power: for the 1.6-liter engine - by 16 horsepower, and for the 1.8-liter engine - by 13 horsepower.

As a result, the power of conventional Lada Vesta models will be 122 horsepower, and the top versions of Vesta and Aura will be 135 horsepower. However, it is not yet specified when exactly the new engines will appear under the hood of these cars. Presumably, this will happen in 2025.

Earlier, at the Comtrans-2024 exhibition, AvtoVAZ presented a prototype of a new version of the Lada Vesta Cross CNG, equipped with a variator. A distinctive feature of the car is a gas cylinder installation that allows the use of methane as the main fuel. This car still uses Italian gas equipment.
