A helmet with an augmented reality system has been developed for pilots of the latest Russian fifth-generation fighters. The new product will help pilots work more effectively in combat.
The technical details of the helmet are not disclosed at the moment. It is known that after capturing a target by turning the head, you can adjust the course of the guided missile - the seeker head deviates in the right direction.
The helmet is also integrated with an onboard targeting and display system. Using the new helmet-mounted AR system, the pilot will be able to see the behind-the-cockpit space at night and in difficult weather conditions, as well as when performing complex maneuvers, that is, he will be able to see through his own aircraft.
