Russia can produce up to 25 RS-26 Rubezh medium-range ballistic missiles (MRBMs) per year, including the Oreshnik modification. This means that the power of the Russian Strategic Missile Forces (RVSN) is growing, Army Recognition writes.
The RS-26 Rubezh is the "heart" of Russia's modern missile capabilities. The missiles can be equipped with nuclear or conventional warheads. Its range is 3500-4000 km.
Consequently, the RS-26 Rubezh is capable of hitting targets throughout Europe and the Middle East, in some regions of Asia.
The increase in the production of ballistic missiles in Russia is forcing NATO countries to modernize their missile defense systems.
