A unified research and development program in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) will appear in Russia. The Ministry of Economic Development is developing a corresponding draft resolution.
The document will outline the procedure for forming a Unified Program of Research and Development in the field of artificial intelligence. It must be approved by the government.
The unified program will include research covering the architecture and algorithms of machine learning, computing and data for AI, as well as fundamental and generative models and human-AI interaction. These studies are then planned to be used in various sectors of the economy.
It should be noted that the Ministry of Economic Development is the responsible federal body for the implementation of scientific and applied research in the field of artificial intelligence. This is stated in a letter from the First Deputy Minister of Economic Development.
