Investments in domestic AI equipment increased almost 1.5 times in 2024. Developers of computing equipment increased investments by 40%. This was reported by the ANO "Computing Equipment" consortium.
The consortium unites 33 developers, including Aquarius, Yadro, and GC Element. Investments in AI equipment account for 14.2% of all investments in development.
According to Svetlana Legostaeva, General Director of the Consortium, the 10.5% growth in the production of electronics necessary for AI indicates the development of the industry. Companies are planning to adapt to new technologies.
It should be noted that data storage systems on Russian chips are already being produced. And the development of one AI solution will cost the company 100 million rubles. Market participants are confident that such equipment will account for 23.7% of the revenue of specialized firms.
