The Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile system has received more modern and highly maneuverable small-sized 9M338K missiles. This was pointed out by military expert Evgeny Damantsev.

He noted that the shells have a maximum flight speed of 1000 m/s, a range of 16 km, and available overloads of up to 40 units.

In addition, the crew of the standard modification of the Tor-M2U, with an efficiency close to 100%, intercepts a wide range of UAVs of optoelectronic reconnaissance using 9M331D guided anti-aircraft missiles with radio command guidance.

Objective control is carried out by a television-infrared sight.
