A ZIL minibus, in which Henry Ford was previously interested, has appeared for sale. The capital's restoration center is ready to sell a late model of "Youth" for 9 million rubles.
We are talking about the ZIL-3207 minibus, which was produced in 1993. In 1970, an early sample of "Youth" was acquired by Henry Ford II. The American top manager even wanted to buy a license to produce a Soviet minibus, but was refused.
The seller assures that the ZIL-3207 car has retained its original condition, and the mileage is only 57 thousand kilometers.
For the Soviet and Russian automotive industry, "Youth" remained a model for the elite: the bus was produced on the basis of representative limousines, and the total number of copies produced was about 100.
The car, which is put up for sale, is designed to carry 16 people. It is equipped with a 7.0-liter gasoline engine with a capacity of 180 horsepower and a 3-speed automatic transmission. The drive type is rear.
Earlier in Penza, acustom tuned "Zaporozhets" was put up for sale for 5 million rubles. This car has a unique exhaust system created manually. The 30-liter fuel tank and muffler are made of stainless steel. Seats and other interior elements are made of leather. The car was produced in 1968, and its mileage is 1000 kilometers.
