JSC AvtoVAZ has announced the launch of retail sales of the new LADA Aura business sedan. From November 30, 2024, cars will be delivered to five dealerships in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Corporate sales and deliveries to government agencies started in mid-November. The recommended retail price (RRP) for LADA Aura starts from 2,599,000 rubles.
From the beginning of December 2024, LADA Aura will begin to arrive in other regions of Russia, including the Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories, the Volgograd, Chelyabinsk and Nizhny Novgorod Regions, as well as Crimea and Tatarstan. The exact dates of arrival of cars at dealerships will depend on the region and delivery times. AvtoVAZ also reports that starting from November 30, 2024, the LADA Aura sedan can be ordered at any official LADA dealer.
As part of the planned production increase, in December 2024, AvtoVAZ intends to reach a production rate of up to 76 LADA Aura cars per day. This will ensure stable supplies to the dealer network and timely fulfillment of corporate and government orders.
LADA Aura was developed with an emphasis on the comfort of second-row passengers, who are provided with an additional 25 cm of legroom. All cars of this model are equipped with a 1.8 EVO engine with a capacity of 122 hp and an automatic transmission. There are three body colors to choose from: black "Panther", silver "Platinum" and brown "Coriander".
LADA Aura will be available in two trim levels. The basic version — Premier, includes LED optics, four airbags, a course stability system, a blind spot monitoring system, front and rear parking sensors, heated steering wheel, front seats and rear sofa cushion, air conditioning, cruise control, LADA Enjoy multimedia system with a 7-inch screen and other comfort and safety systems.
In the Status version, the interior is finished with genuine leather, and additional headrest covers and heated seat backs are provided for passengers. This version also includes the LADA Enjoy Vision Pro multimedia system with a 10-inch screen, 8 speakers and integration with Yandex Auto services. The RRP for LADA Aura in the Status configuration starts from 2,799,000 rubles.
The cost of LADA Aura in the Premier configuration is 2,599,000 rubles, and in the Status configuration — 2,799,000 rubles. These names are of historical significance for JSC AvtoVAZ: the name Premier was used for the stretch version based on the "top ten", and Status was considered as the name for the VAZ-2170 model, which eventually entered the market under the name Priora.
The Aura Premier model includes ABS, ESP, four airbags, blind spot monitoring, parking sensors, air conditioning, cruise control, an audio system with a 7-inch display, as well as heated seats and steering wheel.
