"Yandex" acquired NewPay service, providing payment for goods and services via QR code

"Yandex" has acquired NewPay, a service specializing in payment for goods and services via QR codes of the Faster Payments System (FPS).

The deal was completed on November 28 and structured through the company LLC "Financial and Payment Technologies".

This step will allow "Yandex" to expand the capabilities of its "Yandex Pay" payment service, adding new tools for payment via QR codes.

NewPay was founded in September 2024 and has since integrated with various systems, such as "Evotor", Posiflora, Quick Resto, "Module Kassa", "Aspro", and others. Project partners include brands such as TopGun, "Doubleby", "Cantata", OnePriceCoffee, SurfCoffee, and Cofix.
