"Yandex Eats" has introduced an online table booking feature in restaurants, which is already available in more than 1,000 establishments in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Now, users can not only choose a restaurant using selections, filters, and personalized recommendations, but also reserve a table and then build a route to the establishment.
The booking option is available in restaurants of such chains as Novikov Group, Rappoport Restaurants, Pinskiy&Co, BAZAR FAMILY, and others. To use the new feature, you need to update the application to the latest version and fill out a special online form in the establishment's card.
The function is located in the "Where to go" section, which appeared in "Yandex Eats" in the spring of 2024. This section includes information about more than 75,000 restaurants and cafes throughout Russia, which is about 80% of all establishments in the country. Choosing a restaurant can be simplified with personal recommendations from a neural network or using filters that will help you choose an establishment by type of cuisine or style. Since its launch, this section has attracted a significant number of users, increasing its audience by 70%.
In the fall of 2024, "Yandex Eats" acquired the LeClick service and the SmartReserve system for managing bookings. These technologies were integrated into the Yandex infrastructure and became the basis of the new online booking function.
