AvtoVAZ has already sent the first batch of Lada Aura cars. These cars were in the maximum configuration, with interior trim made of genuine leather. According to the insider public Avtograd, the plant has now begun production of cars in the basic configuration.
These Lada Aura cars have a media system with a 7-inch screen, the interior is decorated in black using a combination of fabric and eco-leather. The wheels have a different design and a smaller size — 16 inches instead of 17. The body is painted in "metallic" color.
According to the insider, these cars, like the cars from the first batch, are intended for state needs and will not be available for retail purchase.
Let us remind you that all the first Lada Aura were produced in the maximum Status configuration. The cars are equipped with 1.8 EVO engines and an automatic transmission with stepless switching. The first cars were also sent to state and corporate customers.
Earlier, the head of AvtoVAZ, Maxim Sokolov, announced that sales of Lada Aura would start in December 2024. The cars will appear at dealers in November-December, first in showrooms in Moscow and St. Petersburg, and then throughout Russia.
