Superior to imported counterparts: snowplow vehicle based on Ural-6370 chassis developed in the Chelyabinsk region

SpetsAgregat and Khodovye Sistemy to receive funds from the Chelyabinsk Region Development Fund

The Miass-based "SpetsAgregat Plant" and PC "Khodovye Sistemy" have developed a snowplow vehicle based on the Ural-6370 chassis. The Industrial Development Fund (IDF) of the Chelyabinsk region will reimburse the companies for part of the costs of designing special equipment. The grant amount is 10.4 million rubles.

The snowplow vehicle from the Ural companies is designed for cleaning runways at airfields and aircraft parking areas.

The rotor with a cutting milling cutter installed in front of the machine reduces the resistance of the snow cover and collects snow in front of the equipment, preventing it from scattering along the roadsides.

The snowplow's productivity is 5000 tons/hour, which is twice as high as that of similar equipment, including imported ones.

Previously, many parts for special equipment were made by casting into the ground — a process of creating blanks (disposable sand molds are used for pouring metal). Now they are created by casting using gasifiable models (expanded polystyrene models are used).
