The cargo ship «Progress MS-27» has completed its work on the ISS. After 19:11 Moscow time on November 19, it will burn up in the dense layers of the atmosphere. Read more below.
The ship's service life has come to an end. At 15:53, it will go on an autonomous flight, undocking from the «Poisk» module. «Progress MS-27» will begin braking with its engines at 19:11. After that, it will enter the Earth's atmosphere. According to calculations, the ship will end its existence in the dense layers of the atmosphere, burning up. The non-combustible elements will sink in the non-navigable part of the Pacific Ocean.
«Roscosmos» will launch a broadcast of the farewell to the ship from 15:30 Moscow time. It can be viewed on the official page of the state corporation on «Vkontakte».
The place of «Progress MS-27» will be taken by the ship «Progress MS-29». Its launch is scheduled for November 21, and docking with the ISS is scheduled for November 23.
As a reminder, «Progress MS-27» arrived at the ISS on June 1. It brought 2.5 tons of various cargo.
