The cargo ship "Progress MS-27" has completed its work on the ISS. After 19:11 Moscow time on November 19, it will burn up in the dense layers of the atmosphere. Read more below.
The ship's service life has come to an end. At 15:53, it will go on an autonomous flight, undocking from the "Poisk" module. "Progress MS-27" will begin braking with its engines at 19:11. After that, it will enter the Earth's atmosphere. According to calculations, the ship will end its existence in the dense layers of the atmosphere, burning up. The non-combustible elements will sink in the non-navigable part of the Pacific Ocean.
"Roscosmos" will launch a broadcast of the farewell to the ship from 15:30 Moscow time. It can be viewed on the official page of the state corporation on "Vkontakte".
The place of "Progress MS-27" will be taken by the ship "Progress MS-29". Its launch is scheduled for November 21, and docking with the ISS is scheduled for November 23.
As a reminder, "Progress MS-27" arrived at the ISS on June 1. It brought 2.5 tons of various cargo.
