Export Su-57s will differ from Russian ones: which aircraft may be sent to Turkey, India, Africa and South America

General Popov: India, Turkey and other countries may buy Su-57

The export version of the advanced Russian fifth-generation Su-57 fighter will differ slightly from the version supplied to the Russian Aerospace Forces. This opinion was expressed by Honored Military Pilot of the Russian Federation Vladimir Popov.

According to him, such aircraft will not be equipped with equipment for working with nuclear weapons and "friend-or-foe" recognition systems. Differences are also possible in the part of radio and radar equipment. At the same time, the principles of operation of the equipment on the Su-57 will remain, of course, the same, he clarified.

The pilot believes that India and Turkey, some African countries, in particular Egypt and Algeria, as well as a South American state, can purchase a fifth-generation fighter.

Russia has its own market for military products. We have never suffered from a lack of exports, whether it be aviation, artillery or small arms. We do not have enough capacity to provide for all potential buyers. Therefore, the export of the Su-57 is the next stage in the development of our military complex.

Earlier www1.ru reported that Russia will supply Su-35S abroad: negotiations on the most dangerous fighters in the world have already started.
