The Russian multi-purpose frigate "Admiral Golovko", carrier of hypersonic anti-ship missiles "Zircon", conducted a series of exercises while passing through the English Channel. This was reported in the press service of the Northern Fleet.
During the passage through the strait zone, the crew of the Russian ship conducted an exercise to provide anti-submarine and anti-aircraft defense of a group of ships, as well as several training sessions on conducting rescue operations using deck aviation - Ka-27 helicopters.
Complex anti-terrorism exercises were conducted on board the "Admiral Golovko". Marines from the counter-terrorism group and personnel of the on-duty watch service practiced actions on various scenarios, including countering unmanned aerial vehicles and unmanned boats of a mock enemy.

The "Admiral Golovko" was built according to the project of the Northern Design Bureau (part of the USC) at the "Severnaya Verf" plant in St. Petersburg. The frigate is equipped with hypersonic anti-ship missiles "Zircon". In December 2023, it was put into operation and put into service with the Russian Navy.
