The Institute of Inorganic Chemistry of the SB RAS has found a new approach to the synthesis of anti-tumor drugs based on platinum. This was reported by Danila Vasilchenko, a senior researcher at the laboratory of chemistry of rare platinum metals of the institute.
The new method will make the synthesis safe.
We have developed an alternative approach to synthesis based on our own compounds, which avoids the stage where explosive compounds are formed. Accordingly, this gives a completely different direction in the development of such drugs.
Earlier www1.ru reported that in Moscow developed a nanosensor for the diagnosis of cancer and Alzheimer's.
