Rostselmash has equipped the TORUM 785 combine harvester with a semi-tracked undercarriage with a rubber-reinforced track, increasing the machine's productivity. This was reported by the press service of the manufacturing company.
The combine is capable of harvesting over 2,000 hectares per season, threshing up to 90 tons of grain per hour when harvesting corn and up to 50 tons per hour when harvesting cereals.
Thanks to the improved track, the combine's specific pressure on the ground has decreased by at least 2 times. As a result, TORUM 785 can operate on soils with low bearing capacity.
As added in the company's press service, Russian farmers highly appreciate the combine for its power and performance. The machine has been included in the Russian Book of Records.
Features of the TORUM 785 combine:
- Unique threshing system (rotor with concave rotates 360° around its axis)
- Economical engine
- Ease of operation
- Comfortable cabin
- Cross-country ability on all types of soils
