AGR Company Patents New Trademark

Whether any cars will be sold under it is unknown

The AGR holding (AGR), which owns the former automotive enterprises of Hyundai and Volkswagen, has patented the Novo trademark. A logo has already been created for it, which has also been registered.

Insiders report that the trademark is registered under the car class. However, what cars can be produced under such a name, and whether they will be produced at all — is still unknown. Representatives of AGR have not commented on their patent histories.

In March of this year, the company registered the Agron trademark for a wide class of product categories, including automobiles. However, no cars under the Agron brand have yet appeared on the market. Nor have any other products under that name been noticed.

As a reminder, from February to September of this year, the AGR plant produced more than 17,000 cars. From March to September, 13,799 units of cars under the Solaris brand were sold.

The renamed Kia Rio, Hyundai Solaris and Hyundai Creta are produced using full-cycle technology, bypassing Hyundai.
