Aqua Resistent has developed hydrophobic polymers for waterproofing house foundations, according to the company's CEO, Alexey Dergunov.
The new method involves creating a barrier between the foundation and the aquifer layers of the soil. This will resemble a kind of polymer bath around the building, with a thickness of 0.5-1 m.
We pump the polymer into the ground, and it glues together the easily permeable layers, mainly sandstone. Thus, in order to waterproof, we do not need to completely extract this soil and apply it to the foundation; it is enough to simply pump it into the ground.
The composition is planned to be injected through special wells. The developers expect that their technology will extend the lifespan of buildings by 25 years.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Russia developed a heat-resistant material for protecting drones.
