The car-sharing service "Citydrive" has launched an option to buy cars taken for long-term rental. Now users can purchase one of more than 15 models of comfort and premium class cars, including Exeed LX, Exeed TXL, Changan UNI-T, UNI-V, UNI-S, Omoda S5, Haval H3 and others. In the future, the list of available cars will expand along with the growth of the long-term rental fleet.
The service's press service explained that a subscription with the option to buy does not require additional costs or an initial payment — the lessee only pays for the rental itself. The tariff includes seasonal tire fitting, scheduled maintenance, repairs and the provision of a replacement car, if required. Most of the cars on offer are new or have been previously used by only one or two drivers.
You can apply for a buyout when concluding a lease agreement or later by contacting the manager. The cost of the car is fixed for the entire rental period, and the price and duration of the subscription for the buyout are calculated individually.
The long-term rental service from one month was launched by "Citydrive" in January 2024 in St. Petersburg, and later became available in Moscow and Sochi. A similar option to buy cars after rental was previously presented in "Yandex.Drive".
