Mines Instead of Grain: Rostec's "Farming" Will Mine Enemy Territory from Behind the Front Line

The technology works on a principle similar to that of MLRS

Russian military forces are actively using the "Farming" remote mining engineering systems (ISDM). For mining, ammunition filled with various types of mines are used.

The long range of "Farming" makes it possible to organize minefields even in territory controlled by the enemy. One volley is enough to mine an area of several football fields in a matter of minutes at a considerable distance from the firing point.

All this allows domestic crews to reduce the risk of being hit by enemy fire. A minefield organized in the enemy's rear can hinder their further movement towards the front or disrupt the rotation of their troops.

Rostec noted that the probability of even accidental detonation on one's own mine during movement is excluded, since the explosive devices are capable of deactivating or self-destructing at the right time. After the end of hostilities, this facilitates the demining process.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that Russia will increase production of Kub kamikaze drones. They have proven themselves well on the front line.
