The "STAN" holding (part of Rostec Group) has launched the production of CNC portal centers. They are designed for processing parts in the production of civil aircraft, the state corporation's press service reported.
Such equipment is being created in Russia for the first time. The machines are made from domestic components.
The modular design of the machine allows manufacturing large metal blanks, including wing parts with a maximum size of up to 24 meters. Machining centers can perform a dozen operations according to a given program and produce various glider components.
The new machines are equipped with a movable table. They allow performing five-axis processing of products made of non-metals, aluminum and titanium alloys, as well as steel. Machining centers are equipped with a tool breakage control system, a laser tool control and adjustment system, and a sensor for controlling the dimensions of the workpiece with radio data transmission.
The new equipment will reduce the production cycle. It is already being used at the Kazan Aviation Plant.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Rostec transferred a batch of Su-57 and Su-35S fighters to the army.
