One of the most effective elements of the ammunition of the reconnaissance and strike UAV "Inokhodets-RU" are the UPAAB-50S planning guided aerial bombs, represented by a wide range of warheads from 122-mm unguided rockets to 9M28K cluster bombs.
They are placed in the fuselage with a folding wing unit, as well as a tail module of aerodynamic control based on all-turning surfaces and guidance using an inertial navigation system and a GLONASS-/GPS-correction receiver.
When dropped at an echelon of 6500 m, the planning range of the UPAAB-50S can reach 25 - 30 km, which will allow the Inokhodets-RU operator not to drive the vehicle into the radii of action of enemy military air defense systems such as IR-ASRAAM, or NASAMS. UPAAB -50S was designed at JSC "Kronshtadt", it is a kind of mini-version of the D-30SN UMPB.
It is noteworthy that in the case of the development of a specialized multi-point or container multi-position launcher for placement on the suspensions of the Su-34NVO, one such aircraft in high-altitude cabriering mode will be able to use over 20 UPAAB-50S aerial bombs against targets at a distance of 80 - 100 km.
