Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant (part of "Russian Helicopters" of Rostec Group) presented the multi-purpose helicopter Mi-171A3 with a high-comfort cabin in the "Aurus" configuration. The aircraft was shown at the St. Petersburg International Gas Forum.
The modernized cabin includes a climate control system, wardrobe, kitchen, and comfortable seats. A special compartment is provided for luggage.
Mi-171A3 is equipped with:
- Crash-resistant design of the fuel system and fuselage.
- Automated on-board system for monitoring the operation of key equipment.
- Digital complex for piloting in manual and automatic mode at any time of the day.
The helicopter does not need external reference points. This makes the flight safe even in dense fog in the mountains or in low cloud cover. "Russian Helicopters" has already launched serial production of the basic model.
The rotorcraft can carry up to 10 passengers (four in first class). The helicopter can also be used to service remote, hard-to-reach facilities in any climatic conditions, including in the Arctic.
In the future, the model is planned to be supplemented with a panoramic window.
It is worth noting that the first rotorcraft with a comfortable cabin in the "Aurus" modification was demonstrated in 2019. We are talking about the light multi-purpose helicopter "Ansat".
