Representatives of Wildberries have announced the launch of free delivery of bulky goods directly to customers' doors. The service applies to household appliances, furniture, building materials, plumbing, and goods for the garden.
By the end of 2025, the delivery area will cover the entire territory of Russia and the CIS countries where Wildberries operates.
At the beginning of 2023, a pilot project was launched to test the possibility of delivering goods to homes. Several regions participated in the experiment: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kaluga, Tula, and Ryazan regions.
Currently, the service is available in 24 regions and approximately 400 settlements. Now, residents of these regions can order home delivery with the order being taken directly to the apartment.
This year, after completing the testing, we focused on expanding the geography and launching new routes every week.
Also, Wildberries has opened pilot pick-up points in post offices. So far, such PVZs have appeared mainly in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the Wildberries marketplace has added a new function for searching for products by photo in the mobile application and on the website. A new neural network will help users select positions.
