The Pacific Fleet's "Admiral Panteleev" and "Admiral Tributs", the Chinese Navy's destroyers "Xining" and "Uxi", the frigate "Lin Yi", and the integrated supply ship "Taihu" practiced anti-submarine warfare during joint patrols in the Asia-Pacific region, the Pacific Fleet's press service reported.
The group of warships operated in the northwestern Pacific Ocean. Russian and Chinese crews conducted maneuvering exercises, forming a marching order to organize anti-submarine defense. The submarine of a mock enemy was searched for using a Ka-27PL helicopter.
Russia and China are conducting patrols in the APR as part of the "Beibu/Interaction - 2024" naval exercises. Live firing exercises and maritime rescue operations are also planned.
