The Pacific Fleet's "Admiral Panteleev" and "Admiral Tributs", the Chinese Navy's destroyers "Xining" and "Usi", the frigate "Lin Yi", and the integrated supply ship "Taihu" practiced anti-submarine tasks during joint patrols in the Asia-Pacific region, the Pacific Fleet's press service reported.
The group of warships operated in the northwestern Pacific Ocean. Russian and Chinese crews conducted maneuvering, building a marching order to organize anti-submarine defense. A Ka-27PL helicopter was used to search for a mock enemy submarine.
Russia and China are conducting patrols in the Asia-Pacific region as part of the "Beibu/Interaction - 2024" naval exercises. Live firing exercises and maritime rescue operations are also planned.
