More than 40% of companies in the fuel and energy complex (FEC) of Russia include artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Eduard Sheremetsev at the Digital Innopolis Days forum.
Currently, the fuel and energy complex - about 41% of companies already use artificial intelligence technologies to one degree or another. In the next three years, another 18% of companies will implement certain solutions in their processes.
Most often, AI is used in financial and economic activities. Companies create technologies for automatic reading of documents, chatbots, and various assistance systems.
According to the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, the FEC is in third place in terms of AI usage among the sectors of the Russian economy. The leading positions are occupied by the communications sector and the banking sector.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that in Moscow they trained artificial intelligence to recognize the structure of molecules.
