Рост цен до 250 тысяч рублей: эксперты о последствии повышения утильсбора

Demand for Cars Will Decrease Next Year

The Russian government's decree on increasing the recycling fee for passenger cars and trucks came into force on October 1. Journalists and experts believe that the increase in prices for new cars will be up to 250 thousand rubles. Let's elaborate.

Speaking of specific figures, cars that cost 2-2.5 million may become more expensive due to the increase in the recycling fee by 120-150 thousand.
Maxim Kadakov, auto journalist

According to him, cars that currently cost from 4 million rubles to 4.5 million rubles will increase in price by 250 thousand rubles.

Auto expert Andrei Osipov believes that demand for new cars will decrease by 5-7% next year, approximately in January-February. This will be due to a decrease in the number of cars imported at the old rates. It is likely that in October and November of this year, demand for cars will remain at the same level, and in December, everything will depend on the marketing programs of dealers.
