A new player has appeared in the Russian truck market. MB RUS has begun selling Forland trucks. This is, of course, Chinese technology.
There are three models in total. Forland 3 has a gross weight of 3.5 tons. The truck is equipped with a 154 horsepower turbodiesel. Engine capacity — 2.5 liters. Forland 8 has a gross weight of 8 tons. The turbodiesel has a capacity of 3.7 liters, engine power is 152 horsepower. The first two truck models have the same gearboxes – a six-speed manual.
The oldest model, called Forland 12, received an eight-speed manual, a 4.4-liter turbodiesel with 209 horsepower. Gross weight – 12 tons.
The trucks have air conditioning as an option, a heated driver's seat, the steering wheel has two-way adjustment, there is a multimedia system in Russian and cruise control. Among the electronic assistants, there are also ABS and ESP systems.
It is claimed that the trucks are prepared for winter. Thus, the oil seals, dust covers and pipes should not crack in the cold, harnesses and connectors are made of durable materials. In addition, the trucks are equipped with high-capacity batteries.
