Sales of cars of the Belarusian brand Belgee set a record in Russia: 1139 units of new cars were sold in the week from September 16 to 22. Currently, only Belgee X50 and Belgee X70, which were previously Geely Coolray and Geely Atlas Pro, can be purchased in Russia.
This is an unprecedented level of sales. The previous record was recorded in the 17th week of 2024 and amounted to 1042 units. Thanks to these results, Belgee was able to rise in the ranking of the top 10 car brands in the Russian market and take sixth place, while previously its position did not exceed seventh.
Lada still leads the market with a result of 8605 units for the 38th week.
Next come four Chinese brands: Haval (4541 units), Geely (3899 units), Chery (3866 units) and Changan (2733 units).
In sixth place is the Belarusian brand Belgee with a result of 1139 units.
The top ten also included four more Chinese brands: OMODA (1010 units), Jetour (921 units), EXEED (827 units) and TANK (749 units).
As a reminder, sales of Belgee X70 started in Russia in the summer of 2024. The front-wheel drive car is available with a 1.5-liter engine, its power is 150 horsepower. This engine is equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission.
