The Etalon Research and Production Enterprise (part of the Rostec Group) has developed a unique system for geotechnical temperature monitoring at industrial facilities in harsh climates. The device will help identify emergency situations in permafrost regions. This was reported by the state corporation's press service.
The new system operates in a temperature range from -50 to +100 ºС. It allows measuring the temperature of frozen soils in real time in permafrost regions at industrial, transport and railway infrastructure facilities.
The system is equipped with multi-zone digital temperature sensors. They allow reading temperature indicators of objects at many points simultaneously. The collected data is transmitted to the server for further analysis.
This allows us to give accurate forecasts on the temperature regime of the observed object and to identify potentially dangerous deviations in a timely manner for its trouble-free operation.
Earlier www1.ru reported that tested a new complex for monitoring weather and ice in the Arctic.
