Pantsir-S1 SAM system wrapped in futuristic armor: novelty spotted at the front

A combat vehicle of the Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile and gun system was spotted on the front line, clad in an improvised set of anti-cumulative anti-drone screens based on 23-mm conveyor belts. This protection will provide partial defocusing of the cumulative warheads of PG-7VS and PG-7VL reactive anti-tank grenades.

Military expert Evgeny Damantsev drew attention to the fact that the chassis and power unit module of the vehicle are mainly covered from the alleged impact of FPV drones.

Earlier it became known that serial production of the Vizir surface drone has started in Russia. It is controlled by artificial intelligence, without the participation of an operator.
