The Russian company "Graviton," specializing in the development and production of computer technology, has begun producing monitors for state needs at the production facilities of the former Samsung plant in the Kaluga region. A trial batch of monitors has already been released — 1000 units.
"Graviton" will face high competition, the publication noted, because there are already many monitor models on the market that government organizations can buy.
For now, the company plans to produce monitors with a diagonal of 24 and 27 inches. The price starts from 10 thousand rubles. "Graviton" does not disclose information about the partner with whom the production contract was concluded, as well as the amount of investment.
The trial batch amounted to 1000 monitors, said Mikhail Kupche, Chief Operating Officer of "Graviton," and by the end of the first quarter of 2025, the company plans to produce 60,000 units.
