The ground robot can install minefields

Russia has developed the Impuls-KPTM ground-based robotic system designed for installing minefields. The robot is equipped with 30 launchers for anti-tank or anti-personnel mines, writes Army Recognition.

Features of the Impuls-KPTM robotic system

  • speed — 10 km/h
  • able to overcome a slope at an angle of 25 degrees
  • weight — 1350 kg
  • signal transmission up to 1000 m
The robotic complex is equipped with 30 launchers, which allows simultaneous installation of up to 120 anti-tank and anti-personnel mines when creating minefields.
