Kurganmashzavod (part of the "High-Precision Complexes" holding of the Rostec State Corporation) has supplied the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations with a new batch of TM-140 all-terrain vehicles for use in the Arkhangelsk region and Chukotka. The company's press service released a video of the tracked vehicles.
The TM-140 is distinguished by its high проходимостью (cross-country ability): the all-terrain vehicle overcomes swamps, water obstacles, and deep snow. The vehicle can be additionally equipped with a power station, a workshop for repair and restoration work, and rescue equipment.
Features of the TM-140 all-terrain vehicle
- range — over 500 km
- when installing additional fuel tanks, the range will increase to 870 km
- payload capacity — 4 t
- speed — 45 km/h
- availability of an autonomous diesel generator station for recharging batteries
It is expected that in 2024, Kurganmashzavod will supply the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations with several more batches of all-terrain vehicles of this type.
