Kurganmashzavod showed a video with new TM-140 tracked all-terrain vehicles for the Arctic

The vehicles will operate in the Arkhangelsk region and Chukotka

Kurganmashzavod (part of the High-Precision Complexes holding of the Rostec State Corporation) has supplied the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations with a new batch of TM-140 all-terrain vehicles for use in the Arkhangelsk region and Chukotka. The company's press service showed a video of the tracked vehicles.

The TM-140 is characterized by high cross-country ability: the all-terrain vehicle overcomes swamps, water obstacles, and deep snow. The vehicle can be additionally equipped with a power plant, a workshop for repair and restoration work, and rescue equipment.

Features of the TM-140 all-terrain vehicle

  • range — more than 500 km
  • when installing additional fuel tanks, the range will increase to 870 km
  • carrying capacity — 4 tons
  • speed — 45 km/h
  • availability of an autonomous diesel generator station for charging batteries

It is expected that in 2024, Kurganmashzavod will supply the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations with several more batches of all-terrain vehicles of this type.
