Rostec to develop the latest light missile for ATGM against vehicles with dynamic protection

The development has a jam-resistant control system with laser beam teleorientation

The Tula Instrument Design Bureau (part of Rostec's High-Precision Complexes) has begun developing the 9M134 light guided missile for anti-tank missile systems (ATGMs). It will allow hitting medium-armored vehicles equipped with dynamic protection.

The 9M134 missile is four times lighter than the missiles of the Kornet family. Thanks to this, the ATGM crew will be able to carry the amount of ammunition necessary to perform various tasks and increase its combat capabilities to defeat a larger number of objects.

The development has a jam-resistant control system with laser beam teleorientation, a maximum firing range of at least 3.5 km, and has a tandem cumulative warhead.
