UAZ has announced another update: from September 2024, all modifications of the UAZ "Profi" truck will be equipped with LED daytime running lights. The first such trucks have already been delivered to dealerships.
According to one of the major dealer companies, "NG-SERVIS", this technological solution should help reduce the heating temperature of the section and eliminate the possibility of clouding the plastic of the headlights during operation.
The new headlight will retain the overall configuration and mounting points, but instead of dual-filament incandescent lamps, the white light source for the DRLs will now be nine LED elements. They are designed for the entire service life of the car, meaning they do not require replacement. Until now, the "Profi" headlights consisted entirely of incandescent lamps, and LED elements were used as DRLs only on the flagship "Patriot" SUV.
The headlights of the "Patriot" and "Profi" have become similar, but they are not interchangeable.
