The LADA Iskra project continues to develop at AvtoVAZ, where cars are being assembled as part of pre-production to debug processes and train employees. On Wednesday, September 4, two copies of the Iskra were assembled in sedan and station wagon bodies. The station wagon was painted in a new color "Platinum" (gray metallic), according to insiders.
Although the assembly of cars is already underway on the assembly line, mass production will begin only in the first quarter of 2025. LADA Iskra will be available in three body styles: sedan, station wagon and cross-station wagon. The model will be equipped with 5- and 6-speed manual transmissions, as well as a CVT.
