Residents of Yekaterinburg will be able to use carsharing from Yandex from mid-September. This was reported by the company's press service.
Drive announced the opening of its fifth city of presence - Yekaterinburg. The service will start operating in the city on September 12.
The company urged Russians to register in the service's mobile applications now in order to be ready for the launch of the service in the city.
Note that Russians are increasingly using carsharing services, despite rising prices. Thus, in Moscow and the Moscow region, such services attract 47% of drivers. Most often, these are men with higher education over 40 years old.
In addition, according to an August study, every fifth Russian believes that owning a carsharing is more profitable than owning a personal car. But 53% of respondents believe that buying a car is a more economical option.
