В Москве предложили оплачивать аренду самокатов транспортной картой

MTS "Urent" Proposed Including Scooter Rides in Travel Passes

Moscow is discussing the possibility of integrating scooter rental payments with transport cards, such as "Troika." This step aims to simplify the rental process and improve the safety of trips. The idea is to introduce a special preferential tariff for short trips up to 10 minutes, which can be paid for with a transport card. This innovation will facilitate scooter rentals and add an additional level of identification, which will increase the safety of using the service.

Kicksharing MTS "Urent" has proposed integrating its scooters with public transport passes in the cities where the service is present.

In addition, additional measures are being considered to improve safety. These include the possibility of identifying users through the "Gosuslugi" portal or mos.ru, as well as connecting to the Unified Biometric System (UBS) of Moscow. These measures will help prevent the use of scooters by minors and reduce the number of accidents involving them.

Ksenia Erdman, Director of the Association of Micromobility Operators, noted that kicksharing companies are interested in providing convenient payment methods. The introduction of the "Troika" payment option will be useful if this option is in demand among users.

Journalist Maxim Kadakov believes that the initiative is aimed at convenience, safety, and ease of payment, which may contribute to an increase in the number of clients of kicksharing services in Moscow.
