As the carrier explains, the airline's planes not only do not save fuel, but also load it additionally if the crew has to fly in difficult weather conditions.

At Pobeda Airlines, fuel planning is carried out strictly in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and officially published routes. Fuel consumption is regularly monitored. Additional fuel is provided when forecasting difficult weather conditions or during peak airport hours. Therefore, absolutely all Pobeda flights are carried out with sufficient fuel to divert to an alternate airfield or wait in line for landing.

Earlier, the Baza Telegram channel published a statement on behalf of an anonymous pilot of the airline, who stated that «Pobeda» allegedly forces pilots to save aviation fuel due to sanctions and wind. Because of this, according to the anonymous source, they fly shorter routes and experience severe stress.
