The Russian and Belarusian sides will begin testing the use of a universal electronic signature. This was announced by the First Deputy Minister of Communications and Informatization of Belarus, Pavel Tkach.
Testing will begin after November of this year.
Based on the completion of the preparation of the technical infrastructure, it will be possible to talk about the timing of the introduction of a mechanism for recognizing electronic digital signatures in the two countries.
The main advantage of using an electronic signature is an increase in the number of joint ventures. It will also open up the possibility for organizations in both countries to sign agreements remotely when participating in public procurement on digital platforms.
This will entail a reduction in bureaucracy and paperwork, which is important so that citizens of the Republic of Belarus have equal rights and opportunities to do business in the territory of the Russian Federation.
The process of manufacturing technical equipment is currently underway, which will be transferred to the operator of the trusted third party for subsequent use in the Republic of Belarus.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Russians abroad will be able to to confirm their right to receive a pension using biometrics.
