No need to wait: trains on the HSR-1 between Moscow and St. Petersburg will run every 15 minutes

Passenger trains will start running on the high-speed railway (HSR-1) Moscow-St. Petersburg with an interval of 15 minutes. This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport, Maxim Liksutov.

In our project, taking into account the number of passenger seats, traffic intervals, when we reach the volumes of the schedule that are planned in the project, the train will run every 15 minutes. Residents of St. Petersburg and Moscow will receive unique opportunities, and our two capitals will be much closer to each other, almost twice as close as they are today.

It should be reminded that the construction of HSR-1 will be completed by 2028. To implement the project, it is planned to involve 100 enterprises. The highway will reduce the travel time from Moscow to St. Petersburg to 2 hours 15 minutes.
