American entrepreneur Elon Musk has denied reports that he gave Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov a Tesla Cybertruck electric pickup truck.
On Saturday, Kadyrov said he had received a Tesla Cybertruck from Musk. He called the electric pickup's characteristics excellent and promised to send it to the Russian military, who would find the car in demand in the appropriate conditions.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk reacted to a message from journalist Seth Abramson on social network X. He wondered why the businessman spoke at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point if he "supplies vehicles ready for military use" to a country under U.S. sanctions.
Are you seriously so retarded that you think I gave a Cybertruck to a Russian general? That's amazing. You're another example of how outdated media lies.
Tesla Cybertruck can be purchased in Russia. On car sales services, offers start from 22.5 million rubles.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Kadyrov thanked Tesla founder Elon Musk for the car and invited him to visit Grozny.
