The "Army-2024" military-technical forum presented the K-4386 4x4 armored vehicle ("Typhoon-VDV"). It is designed for transporting cargo, personnel, and mounting various systems and weapons.

"Typhoon-VDV" is the only MRAP-class armored vehicle in the world capable of being parachuted. The main structural difference between the K-4386 and the K-53949 is the self-supporting armored hull, which has increased strength and rigidity.

The combined protection of the armored hull provides protection against the damaging factors of explosive devices, shell fragments, and small arms. The vehicle is equipped with energy-absorbing landing and crew seats.

In the presented footage, it can be seen that the vehicle received an upgraded BM-30-D, the main armament of which is a 30-mm 2A42 automatic cannon with a ammunition load of 300 rounds. The cannon is paired with a PKTM machine gun with an ammunition load of at least 1000 rounds.
