Twitch Fined 5 Million Rubles for Non-Compliance with Roskomnadzor Order

The service administration failed to comply with the Roskomnadzor order

A magistrate court in the Tagansky district of Moscow fined the streaming service Twitch 5 million rubles for non-compliance with the Roskomnadzor order. This decision was announced by the court's press service.

Twitch Interactive was found guilty of committing an administrative offense under the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation "failure by the owner of a social network to comply with the order of the federal executive body performing the functions of control and supervision in the field of mass communications", for which it was assigned an administrative fine of 5 million rubles.

Previously, the company had already been fined 4 million rubles for posting inaccurate information about the progress of the SMO, as well as 1 million rubles for failing to remove information prohibited in the Russian Federation.
