The high-speed catamaran "Fort Totleben", which was built by shipbuilders of the Sredne-Nevsky Shipbuilding Plant (part of USC), will connect St. Petersburg and Kronstadt. The vessel has started operating on a regular route from the Northern capital to the "Island of Forts" park, the corporation's press service reported.
"Fort Totleben" is the 4th vessel in a series of 6 high-speed passenger catamarans of the 04580 "Kotlin" project. It is designed for use in inland waters and the coastal marine zone.
A feature of this project, which is being implemented for the "Neva Travel" company with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and GTLK, is its adaptation to navigation on the rivers and canals of the Northern capital.
