"Avtozavod St. Petersburg" (formerly a Nissan plant) intends to produce 22,000 XCITE X-Cross 7 and XCITE X-Cross 8 vehicles, which are clones of Chery Tiggo 7 Pro and Chery Tiggo 8 Pro, this year. This is according to insiders.
Part of the vehicle kits has already been paid for and is en route, while another part is awaiting payment.
It is claimed that this is a preliminary plan, which may shift either towards a decrease in production or an increase. Everything will depend on the demand for crossovers, which are not particularly being bought up even by corporate clients.
In 2025, the automaker wants to produce 36,000 vehicles. The plan may also be changed, the insider emphasizes.
